Heavy Horse Society Show 2024
The Cornish Heavy Horse Society held its 27th Annual Show in conjunction with Camborne Show.
The Judge for the Heavy Horse Classes was Danny Roberts from Devon. He said it was an honour to judge at Camborne Show and he was pleased with the turnout of horses and the amount of classes, ranging from In hand, Junior Handlers, Harness, Turnouts, Ridden, Concours d’Elegance and Long Reining Obstacle Course.
Throughout the day we had a very informative commentary from Peter Clarke.
There were 14 Heavy Horses entered which is one of the largest entries in the
Cornish Heavy Horse Showing scene. Four breeds were represented,
Shires, Clydesdale, Suffolk Punch and Percheron.
The most well supported class was the Alan Tiller Driving Class which is a timed obstacle course, fiercely competed for by the competitors.
